Hillsborough and Owlerton Local History Group have just launched their second book, 'Memories of Hillsborough 1930 to 1960', as part of their ongoing project to preserve the social history of the area.
We are a friendly local history group who meet at 7.30 pm on the third Thursday of every month (except December which is the 2nd Thursday) at Hillsborough Trinity Methodist Church, Middlewood Road S6 4HE.
There is a entry fee of £3.00 (cash only) for visitors, and if you become a member it is free (12 month membership fee £20.00). If anyone wishes to join the group or come along as a visitor they will be most welcome. If you have any questions, please do come along to our meetings or you can contact us at:
